There are a few reasons of why I may not reply. I do my best to reply to everyone that actually wrote an email. Even if I don’t think we will make a good match, I will give you the respect to notify you of my reasoning of why even if it is the only email I will send to you.
The first reason is the mail server had a hiccup. No machine is perfect, and there have been times that emails simply gets lost in the internet. This will happen once in a while, even if doesn’t usually happen with me (that I know of). The fact that I didn’t reply – this could be the most likely reason of why.
The second is you have lost interest in writing. If I constantly have to remind you that I exist, and never received an email from you gives me the impression that you have no real interest in writing me. If that becomes the case, I will take the hint and stop writing. If you choose to write again, then I might be here. However, if you are not going to invest any time in even writing a reply to my last email, then why should I have to beg for your attention?
The next reason is you seem to be acting in a manner of a scammer. I am 53 (as of 2026) years old, and I am getting too old to play with scammers. If I perceive you to be a scammer, then you would likely not get any email from me.
Next is if you don’t write any email at all. I had people that would put the entire email in the subject line which is nearly impossible to read, and I shouldn’t have to work for the email. If you choose to not use email properly, then I am not going to reward you. Writing the email in a subject is like writing your email on the back of the envelope. It doesn’t make any sense, and people that do this will not get any replies from me. If this is how you write all of your emails, I would imagine that you don’t have many correspondences. I use the subject to detail the subject of the email, and not the message itself.
Last is we severed communications. If you have misbehaved in a serious enough transgression to where I severed ties with you, I am not going to reply to you a week later with you assuming that I just need some time to myself only for you to continue to behave in a stupid manner. The most common of such transgressions will be homosexual men wanting me to go into detail of my homosexual adventures even though I made it known immediately that I was a heterosexual. I am not going to make up stories for your perversion. I am also not going to talk about heterosexual adventures with a heterosexual man, or heterosexual woman. Again, I am not going to satisfy your perversions.
